Guidelines
The Quarantine Collection is an online journal whose intent is to encourage artists to continue their work during these challenging next few weeks. We want to see what you have come up with while being stuck at home.
We are open to any genre or form, and we encourage playfulness and experimentation. These are strange times, and we want to be as inclusive as we can to all artists. To that end, we will absolutely not accept any work containing glorified violence, bigotry, or other offensive content.
We are a small team of writers and students, dealing with the same challenges you are. Please keep this in mind when it comes to response time. We will try to get to your pieces as soon as possible.
Submissions should be double spaced in Times New Roman, 12 point font. If this interferes with your artistic vision, please let us know in the body of the email.
All work must be previously unpublished and written in English. Simultaneous submissions are encouraged, just let us know if your piece is published elsewhere.
Sadly, we are unable to offer any sort of payment to our contributors other than our sincerest thanks and our best wishes.
Publication will be on a rolling basis. Once we get a decent sized batch we will post our first group, and then post individual pieces as we accept them or as time allows.
